Dire Wolves (Just Exactly Perfect Sisters Band) puts forth a group sound of ecstatic improvisation with each member documenting coordinate points in the higher dimensions of cosmic free-rock. These are exploratory journeys, transportive experiments into nebulous regions of sound often instantly forming into spontaneous compositions. The focus is more about feeling rather than any specific approach to playing. Recommended to the open minds that celebrate such sounds as the punk-hippie crossover scene of mid ’80s SST records, Scandinavian/Teutonic communal motorik vibes; meditative, primordial minimalism; and scratched Environments LPs from the dollar bin.
