Garth Powell has performed throughout North America and Europe and is currently an active member and composer for more groups than you can shake a stick at. Garth has performed and/or recorded with a plethora of world-class talent, including Jaap Blonk, Nels Cline, Marco Eneidi, Douglas Ewart, Gianni Gebbia, Vinny Golia, Mats Gustafsson, Raphe Malik, Miya Masaoka, Pauline Oliveros, Wadada Leo Smith, Bertram Turetzky, Eugene Chadbourne, Tom Nunn and The Jackson Krall Drum Quartet, just to name a few. Mr. Powell has recorded for Hearts of Space, 9 Winds, Sire/Warner Bros., and Leo Records, among others.
